Grand River Avenue Road Reconstruction Project

When:

Where:

Between US-23 to Pleasant Valley

Why:

Traffic shift

 

Paving of the temporary roadway on the south side of Grand River is anticipated being completed today.  East and west traffic should be shifted to the new temporary lanes on Thursday, April 17, 2008.  The contractor hopes to begin pavement removal on the north side on Friday, April 18, 2008.  **Note:  All dates are projected based on site conditions and weather permitting and subject to change.  Motorist are advised to except delays and  be aware of reduced speed limits in the construction areas.  This projection is expected to run until the end of the 2008 construction season.

Where:

Why:

Why:

Construction Stage 1A

 

The East Grand River Reconstruction Project is currently in "Construction Stage 1A".  The contractor is working on water, drainage and construction of the temporary roadway.  Motorist are advised to except delays and  reduced speed limits in the construction areas.  This projection is expected to run until the end of the 2008 construction season.

Water, Drainage and Temporary Road Construction to begin

 

The Livingston County Road Commission announced that reconstruction work on Grand River Avenue between US-23 east of the City of Brighton and Pleasant Valley Road was underway.  The contractor will begin working on water, drainage and construction of the temporary roadway.  Motorist are advised to except delays and  reduced speed limits in the construction areas.  This projection is expected to run until the end of the 2008 construction season.

Between US-23 to Pleasant Valley

Why:

Utility Relocation Underway

 

The Livingston County Road Commission announced that reconstruction work on Grand River Avenue between US-23 east of the City of Brighton and Pleasant Valley Road was underway  with the relocation of utilities and tree clearing.  Motorist are advised to except delays and  be avoid to area if possible.  This projection is expected to run until the end of the 2008 construction season.
