Rolling Hills Subdivision
Sealed proposals will be received by
the Board of County Road Commissioners, of the
County of Livingston at 3535 Grand Oaks Drive, Howell, Michigan, 48843 until,
10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at which time and place proposals will be
publicly opened and read aloud for the following
project:
Item No. 1 -
Rolling Hills
Subdivision, Project No. – 489.0917
2.2 Miles HMA, Base Crushing and
Shaping, HMA Paving. Concrete Curb and Gutter Radii,
Earth Excavation, Geotextile Separator, Aggregate Base
Modified. Altogether with the necessary related work.
Project quantities include:
Approximately 30,300 Syd of HMA, Base
Crushing and Shaping, 5,700 Tons HMA 1500T 20AAA,
1,450 Lineal Feet of Concrete Curb and Gutter C4, 600
Cyd of Earth Excavation, 3,500 Syd of Geotextile
Separator, 10,000 Syd for Turf Restoration.
Plans and specifications may be
obtained at the Livingston County Road Commission
office, 3535 Grand Oaks Drive, Howell,
Michigan for a non-refundable fee of $25.00 or by mail for an
additional $5.00 postage and handling for each set
ordered beginning Monday, March 10, 2008. All proposals
must be submitted in sealed envelopes bearing the name
of the bidder and a notation indicating the project on
which bid is submitted. A certified or cashiers check
on an open solvent bank in the amount of
$10,000.00 for Item No. 1 payable to the Livingston County Road
Commission must accompany each bid.
The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or
all bids, to waive any informality in bids and to accept
the bid which is in the best interest of the County of Livingston.
